Welfare Group
For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.

Our mission is to thank the Lord for the privilege of ministering to His will.
 

Fundraising Activities

 

While this committee depends on the gifts of Bet-Eil Assyrian Church’s members and others to fund the needs of our nation, it also actively plans fundraisers and events to raise additional monies.  Two such activities in 2009 included:

 
  • A fundraising letter sent by Qasha Fereidoun to all the friends of Bet Eil Assyrian Church who generously donated to the cause of outreaching the needy.
  • A Swap-meet (Bazaar) at the November, 2009 which was a great success. While the baked goods were the first to disappear, other items for sale and fundraising included household goods, candles, Christmas gifts, etc.,
The month of December was a joyous one as the members happily prepared Christmas gifts for the needy families and sent them out.
